Non-Stop

Hey guys! I know. It's been a minute. It was busy season for me. Mainly because of my birthday and it has been one thing after another, but now that things have slowed down, I can actually get back to my movie reviews. I also know it's not Monday, but I like to keep people on their toes. So without further ado, Movie of the Night: Non-Stop!

Air marshal Bill Marks (played by Liam Neeson) is taking a flight over the Atlantic, and someone is threatening him through the secured network by texting him. And it's not your regular threats either. Every 20 minutes someone on the plane dies, and it's up to him to figure out who it is. Sure. There might be another air marshal on the flight, but you can never be too careful on who the person is behind the screen. It could be the guy that was on his phone when Bill was going through TSA. Or it could be Jen (played by Julianne Moore), the nice lady who just wanted to sit next to a window. Or it might be one of the pilots. Or maybe it's a flight attendant. Bill is doing his best even if his judgment might be a little clouded due to his past.

I remember watching this with my cousin a long time ago, and I remember I was instantly captivated, because you would have never thought an air marshal would be threatened via text. I also haven't seen Liam Neeson in a movie in a while, and it was while I was at the theaters that I saw a preview for The Naked Gun that I thought I might as well put on this bad boy, and it does not disappoint. I am kind of bummed I didn't see this on the big screen, because it would have been cool seeing the texts between him and the terrorist but streaming it on Netflix was fine enough. If you also like an interesting back story, his is an interesting one. An alcoholic but still manages to do his job even when taking off and that is the worst part of the flight... At least to him so he has to keep his daughter's magical ribbon with him. If you're in the mood for some action, check this one out. It might be a little old, but it's still a pretty good movie.

*Rated PG-13 for intense action and violence, language, some sensuality, and drug references

My Rating: B
